Lotus Pad

This restaurant was recommended to us on our trip to Big Sky and unfortunately was a big disappointment. I asked for non-spicy pad Thai and the dish was so spicy it burned my son’s face. Even the adults had trouble eating it. We had 8 noodle dishes to split among 13 people and had 4 dishes left over. Most of us ended up eating chips and sandwiches instead.

Overpriced, low quality Thai IMO. My curry came with a lot of inedible items like chunks of ginger root, bamboo shoots, bay leaves, and chicken bones. That stuff is supposed to be strained out, not left in. Additionally many of the people in my party were sick the following morning.

We came to Montana for ski experience and you would think restaurant would be friendly here. However, we came to this restaurant when it’s half empty for take out. The receptionist “quoted” us 1 hour 15 minutes very rudely for the take out. Force charged us 10% for tips even we were taking out with no service provided to us. And one hour twenty minutes after, when we asked about our food, the receptionist rudely said “I am only 4 minutes later than the time I quoted you”. What kind of restaurant is this??? I guess they could only survive in the middle of no where in Montana.
